Roll the template into a cone shape overlapping the sheet metal by 1 2 inch then drill a few holes along the seam and seal it closed by placing rivets in the drilled holes. Tip add a bead of silicone sealant along the overlapping edge if you require the cone to be water tight. As the name suggests sheet metal rolling equipment is used for rolling sheets and strips in the metal fabrication industry. When sheet metal is inserted between two such rolls the urethane wraps the sheet metal tightly against the steel roll similar to a radius forming urethane press brake die and since the urethane roller is driven the sheet metal is roll formed into a precise radius.

In the photos you can see that we start by folding the sheet metal over a sharp edge such as the edge of an anvil or sander stand. These machines come in two roller or three roller designs depending on how you want to roll bend and cut the metal sheet.
